Not seeing an install option?
These quick checks solve most shortcut and installation questions.
I don't see “Install” or “Add to Home Screen.”
Try opening TraxPoint directly in Safari on iPhone/iPad or Chrome on Android. Make sure you are using the actual browser rather than an in-app browser inside another app. Update your browser, open a normal tab, and check the menu again. Not every browser exposes an install action for every site.
Is installing TraxPoint required?
No. You can open traxpoint.net in a browser whenever you need it. Installing or creating a shortcut is only for easier access.
Will TraxPoint work without internet?
Don't rely on offline access. Some web apps can cache limited content, but sign-in, sync, and live restaurant information generally require a network connection.
I added the icon but it opens in a browser tab.
That can be normal for a website shortcut. On iPhone, try Safari and choose Open as Web App when offered. On Android, use Chrome's Install option if available. Installed behavior is controlled by your browser and device.
I changed phones or deleted the icon.
Open TraxPoint in your new or current browser and follow the installation steps again. Removing a Home Screen shortcut is different from deleting your TraxPoint account.
